Where to go?
You can take IELTS in Moscow and the European part of Russia (except Saint-Petersburg, Arkhangelsk and Kaliningrad) in BKC IELTS Centre only. The IELTS test is hold in regions according to requirements.
BKC IELTS Centre was accredited for holding the test in 2005 by three organizations administered IELTS: University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations (Cambridge ESOL), British Council и IDP: IELTS Australia.
IELTS Peculiarities:
There are two different IELTS modules: Academic (for entering universities) and General Training module (for immigration and employment).
The IELTS certificate is valid within two years.
The IELTS test structure includes four sections:
- listening — 30-40 minutes;
- reading — 60 minutes;
- writing — 60 minutes;
- speaking — 11-14 minutes.

IELTS Vocabulary
MOCK IELTS is the trial examination, an accurate reproduction of the real test situation with observance of all procedures and regulations and with participating of the examiners. There are used special MOCK materials provided with the University of Cambridge for holding the trial examination.
Authentic materials — the IELTS test materials which are used for testing sessions and issuing of certificates. According to the IELTS regulations all unused materials are destroyed within 48 hours. It is not permitted to use authentic materials for preparing and holding the trial examinations.
Examiner – is an experienced teacher of the English language who has the confirmed high qualification within world standards (certificates and diplomas CELTA, DELTA, TESOL) and also who passed standardization and certification in the IELTS Test Centre and got official confirmation of including into the worldwide list of the IELTS examiners. During the test an examiner participates in writing and speaking modules.
Test Dates — the common calendar of holding test for the whole world. The Test Centre can choose on which of set dates to hold the test and the periodicity of testing sessions but can’t set the test date arbitrarily. Candidate can take the IELTS test unlimitedly and there are no limits in time period between attempts of passing IELTS.
IELTS certificate — a document with the overall band score and score for each test module. There is the candidate’s photograph on the Test Report Form. Candidate receives only one Test Report Form. Issue of additional Test Report Form to candidate is not permitted. Additional Test report Forms can be sent into receiving organizations within the certificate validity.
Receiving organizations — embassies and institutions which are included into the official list of receiving organizations. Sending additional Test Report Forms to employers is realized with the presence of official inquiry of the employer organization.
